Mark Mitchell
Mark Mitchell, Executive Director

Mark joined Summit Place of SouthPark in December of 2008 as the Executive Director.  He has 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry with 20 of those years as a Nursing Home Administrator and Assisted Living Executive Director.  Mark stays very active in many community events and programs in order to promote the quality of life for all seniors.  Mark’s “Life Mission” is to bring talented individuals to the healthcare industry and mentor them in order that they become good stewards of our seniors as they enjoy their best years of retirement.


Zondria Rice
Zondria Rice, Business Office Manager

Zondria Rice has been working with Summit Place at SouthPark for over 3 years as our Business Office Manager. Zondria has been in the senior industry for over 15 years and enjoys the rewards of working and assisting our seniors. Zondria started out in the industry as a caregiver and knew that working with seniors and their families in any capacity was what she was destined to do. Zondria enjoys working closely with all new and current residents and their family members.


Ashley Gang
Ashley Gang, Director of Sales

Ashley has been with Summit Place of SouthPark since September of 2007.  Ashley became aware at a young age that working with our senior population is what she was destined to do.  Ashley started out as an activity assistant, then moved on to be a social worker and has since been involved in the Sales and Admission side of senior living.  Ashley has been in the senior industry for 13 years now and states that because of the wonderful relationship and friendship she had with her "Gram" she is right where she is supposed to be professionally.  Ashley thoroughly enjoys working every day with new and current families/residents and takes pride in knowing that Summit Place of SouthPark is an honest community that is providing quality services.


Santina Wright
Santina Wright, Director of Memory Care

Santina Wright joined Summit Place of SouthPark in April of 2009 as the Director of Memory Care. Santina has been a nurse for nine years and has specialized in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care for the past seven years. Santina began her journey in healthcare at the age of 16 where she began working in a nursing home in Columbia, SC as a nursing assistant. Her work history includes charge nurse in long-term care, trach/ventilator nurse, hospital floor nurse, and Director of Memory Care. Santina’s love and passion is to create moments of joy in the lives of seniors.


Eren Dressler
Eren Dressler, Director of Clinical Services

Eren joined Summit Place of Southpark in February of 2009. Eren has been an LPN for 12 years and has worked in Long Term Care for the past 17 years. Eren began her career in the Senior Industry at the age of 15 while working as a volunteer in an Assisted Living Community in Clinton, MO where she is from. Eren worked her way up from being a Certified Nursing Assistant to a Licensed Practical Nurse. Eren has held duties as a Case Manager, Wound Care Nurse, Charge Nurse as well as a Director of Nursing in both Nursing Home and Assisted Living settings. Eren is compassionate about the care she provides to our Residents and is excited to be a part of the “family” here at Summit Place.


Lorraine Utley
Lorraine Utley, Director of Activities

Lorraine has served as the Director of Activities at Summit Place of SouthPark since October 2007. She began her career in this field in Massachusetts after time spent as an elementary school educator. She enjoys celebrating life with the seniors at Summit Place and providing opportunities for intergenerational interaction as children of all ages come into our community to enjoy time and activities with our residents. Lorraine also enjoys providing outings and excursions for our residents and family members to take part in. Lorraine recognizes the value of keeping life stimulating and accomplishes this by offering a wide variety of opportunities for our residents to enjoy from a cognitive, social, spiritual and creative arts stand point.


Nelson Santos
Nelson Santos, Director of Maintenance

Nelson Santos has been the Director of Maintenance at Summit Place for two years.  Nelson relocated to North Carolina from New Jersey in late 2006 where his career in the senior industry had begun.  Nelson has over eight years experience working with seniors and enjoys the time he is able to spend with our seniors while dealing with residents requests.  Nelson enjoys working with the senior population because he likes to make them smile and put joy in their days.
